Maddy is a hard hitting cornerback for the Springfield Tigers. She covers a lot of real estate on her side of the field and makes opposing teams second guess throwing or running the ball to her side.
Coach Waddy said "She understands the game and she's fearless. Opposing teams don't realize she's a girl until after the game, she fits right in."
Maddy not only balls out but she starts for the #1 11u team in New England. Know for being a football town, starting for the Springfield Tigers is not an easy task. Maddy works hard in the off-season and participates on a national level in flag football.
"Straight DAWG! People sleep on her because she is a girl but week in and week out she has proven to be the best 11u CB out here. " Coach Wayne said about Maddy when asked about her.
Coach Lozano said "When she played flag for me she was super motivated the type of player you want on your team, she was willing to learn and wanted to learn, very hard worker."
Maddys Aunt Desiree said "Since birth, Madi has captivated everyone around her. She’s a sweetheart, smart, caring and full of grace. Don’t be fooled though because since the age of 3 she’s also been the toughest on the field. Between flag football, soccer and tackle she’s never afraid to go against the biggest and toughest boys. Which makes her the right fit to be a Tiger. "
