AYF New England Semi-Regional Predictions
11/8/2022
After going 5 for 6 in CTYFC Championship predictions, with shocking results from the 13U division, we’re back with predictions for semi-finals in the AYF New England Region - New Hampshire vs. Blackstone Valley edition. Unlike the other semi finals in Springfield, the semi-finals being held in Nashua, New Hampshire has a variety of teams and cities representing their respective conferences.
10U - Derry Devils vs East Providence Townies
The #1 Derry Devils (9-0) ran through New Hampshire and we don't see East Providence (stopping their momentum. The Townies took down previously undefeated #4 Fairlawn and look to continue knocking the O's off of their opponents. At the end of the day Derry can win tight games and can put up points in bunches.

11U - CLCF Chiefs vs Bedford Bulldogs
The Bedford Bulldogs overcame 3 losses during the regular season to make it all the way to the New Hampshire state championship and win. The CLCF Chiefs beat the previous Blackstone Valley Conference champion Lincoln Lions 19-0 behind their stud running backs standout performance. This one is going to be a slober-knocker. We expect both teams to come out slow and feel each other out. Ball control and solid tackling will be key early. This game will come down to who can convert their extra points and could go either way.

12U - CLCF Chiefs vs Windam Wolverines
The CLCF Chiefs (RI) are 9-0 and on a roll. The Chiefs have semi-final regional championship experience and showed out really strong against the New London Whalers last year before losing a mostly tightly contested game. Windham (NH) 7-3 showed resolve and overcame loses during the season to ultimately win their state championship against two higher seeded teams. We think CLCF's regional experience will catapult them to the win.

WIndham Wolverines 20 13U Fairlawn Cardinals vs Nashua PAL Force
This game involves track stars and high powered offenses. #2 from Fairlawn may be the best 13u players in all of New England. Nashua's stud looks like a grown man and plays like one too. Some of these players are friends off the field, but I don't see this being an issue as each team plans to move on to the Regional finals.
